How long have you been Zazzling?
1 Year

What made you decide to open your own store?
It was an opportunity too good to turn down, with no upfront fees or listing charges there was nothing to lose.

What was your first sale?
My first sale was a poster done to commemorate The Queens Diamond Jubilee

For most each product or design they create is special. What is your most favourite design and why?
It’s hard to say really as each time I do a new design I think it’s better than the rest but I think my favourite would be my cute mermaid

What is your favourite aspect about Zazzle?
The ability to sell my designs without having to manage the admin side of things such as, packaging, posting, customer service.

How much time do you devote to Zazzle daily/weekly?
Far too much, I think I am addicted to it as you can see from my 3 stores I already have approx. 4,000 products listed and have well over a 1,000 images in my inventory, not bad going for 1 year. I don’t go a day without at least promoting if not designing and spend as much time as I can possibly can.

How much did you earn your first month?
£9.28

How long after opening your store did you become a pro seller?
I think it was about 7 or 8 months

Zazzle has helped many people meet goals that they otherwise wouldn’t have achieved. What has Zazzle helped you to achieve in your personal life?
Financially it has so far helped me with Christmas presents for family and friends but looking to the future I am aiming to build up my store so that I have a decent monthly payment from it each month when I am retired in a few years time, in other words a nice little pension pot. Non-financially it has actually helped me to stop smoking as I am too busy designing to think about smoking, not had a cigarette for over 2 years now and I used to smoke 30 a day.

If you could give any piece of advice to a Zazzle newbie what would it be?
Don’t just sit there waiting for sales to come in, keep designing more and more and adding more and more products. Like my first boss would tell me if you throw enough mud some of it is bound to stick.

If you were an animal, what kind would you be and why?
A cute one that doesn’t get eaten

If you came across a puddle you would …
a) jump in it, viewers be *ed!
b) walk around it, these loafers be new!
c) stop for a moment, take a look around then remember you’re not any more … walk on and remember the good ol' days.
B.

What would we find in your refrigerator right now?
Too much cheese, spread cheese, grated cheese, at least two blocks of cheese; I just can’t get enough of it. Best thing though I have some wine in the fridge also so there’s my supper sort of.

If you could trade places with anyone, real or fictional, alive or dead who would it be? Why?
I wish I could trade places with me when I was 15/16 years old and know what I know now. Not that I have any regrets life’s too short for that but I could have done so much better, if only I had realized that life is not a rehearsal and you only have one chance so make the most of it.
